In this role you are managing the administration of IBM Financing’s cash transactions in EMEA, while supporting the effective debt collection service to protect, manage and grow IBM’s cash flow.
- Daily monitoring of IBM Financing Bank Accounts
- Posting Partner payments to IBM Financing's portfolio system
- Monitor and apply unpaid Direct Debits
- Monitor and allocate unallocated funds
- Raise refund requests/payments out to Partners or other IBM departments
- Perform Daily and Monthly Cash reconciliations for Commercial Financing (COF) bank accounts
- Remit Supplier settlements for COF
- Support COF’s funding model by completing the necessary transactions with the funding Bank
- Perform manual adjustments in the AR system (concessions, write-offs, penny eliminations, early payment flagging, GL moves etc)
- Support accounting ledger reconciliations
- Check existence and relevance of approvals before performing system updates.
- Work with Treasury to ensure correct processing of payments
- Inform and escalate to the management team situations requiring management action.
- Understand process changes and perform tasks accordingly.
- Keep the Work Instructions up-to-date to reflect process changes.
- Provide support during peer reviews, corporate audits and external audits.
- Take part in projects and other tasks as assigned
- High level of accuracy with good attention to details and numerical skills
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the End-to-End EMEA IBMF AR processes and systems/applications. Essential is an understanding of IBM internal organizational structure and responsibilities.
