In this role, you will be primarily responsible for working with the field solutions architects in their efforts to make Red Hat's customers and partners successfully with our enterprise technologies and solutions for cloud, infrastructure, virtualisation, and middleware.
You'll solve problems, create possibilities, and establish working relationships with field solutions architects.
Assist and complement the field account managers, solutions architects with
presales and deep dive technical presentations, Product Demonstrations.
Provide evaluations of our offerings and proofs of concepts to partners and
customers.
Assist in responding to customer technical inquiries including RFPs and RFIs
Perform demonstrations of our offerings and solutions and support corporate
demonstration infrastructures.
Lead knowledge sharing across teams and functions
Participate in solutions architect discussion channels and internal technical
communities.
Assist marketing and business teams with launches of information about our
offerings.
- 6 to 10 years of Client Facing Solution Architect Role Experience/presales experience
- 2 to 5 years of practical experience in at least two of the following - Red Hat
- OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Ansible, RedHat Virtualization, Openshift AI Platform, Openshift Virtualization, etc.
- Excellent knowledge and Advanced technical understanding of Datacenter and Cloud infrastructure components like Networks, Software Defined Networks (SDN), Storage, Software Defined Storage (SDS), Server Virtualization, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Management Portal, Converged Architecture, etc.
- Excellent knowledge and Advanced technical understanding of Kubernetes, Container platform, Container Native Virtualization and PaaS service. Familiar with cloud infrastructure markets, competitive offerings, Private cloud, Public Cloud, Hybrid cloud, hands-on knowledge of and experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, (RHEL) or another Linux distribution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to persuade key stakeholders, ability to learn on your own and work in an ambiguous environment Solid documentation skills; comfortable presenting to mid and large-sized audiences and explaining technical details to non-technical audiences Red Hat Certifications like RHCA and RHCE would be a plus, Understanding of industry trends in cloud computing, end-user computing, development platform, or virtualization is a plus
