In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Role Description for Business Analyst:
* Get familiar with the client current business solution, architecture, organization structure, vision, goals and objectives
* Manage and facilitate elaboration of Business Requirements gathering and grooming – thinking critically and applying subject matter expertise to play trusted partner to the client when defining the detail business requirements
* Document and Deliver high-quality product business analysis outputs – Business requirements, Business Processes, User Stories, System Context..
* Closely collaborate with solution architecture
* Design E2E application support for business requirements – high level concepts, identify options and select the most optimal one, identify impacted application components and interfaces – together with Solution Architect
* Partner and Challenge Solution Architect in finding the best solution for the client context, aligned with the client business strategy, enterprise architecture
* Communicate with and manage Business stakeholders; build rapport, understand their motivation and play the bridge between the business and the project team
* Support / Inputs during preparing Status Report
* Document Meeting Minutes timely after the Meetings with the client
* Stands-in the Squad Lead in front of both internal and client team when needed
* Communicate business and solution architecture to relevant stakeholders
* Manage other resources assigned to particular tasks
* Communicate and Handover BA outputs to client Lines of Business
* Support Test Team – validate test cases, test coverage
* 8+ years experience in the Business Analysis role
* 4+ years experience in the Banking Industry
* Ability to quickly understand the problem and corresponding business context
* Ability to takeover the responsibility for the delivery of outputs on time in expected quality
* Knowledge of Business Process Modelling, Use Cases, User Stories
* Good knowledge of software delivery methodologies and approaches; experience in Agile methodology
* Experience with JIRA or similar Project / Task management tools
* BPMN / UML tools (Blueworks Live, Visio, Entreprise Architect)
* Ability to estimate an effort and all impacts of proposed solution
* Very good communication skills; analytical and creative problem solving skills
* Ability to cooperate and take business and solution lead in multi-vendor teams
* Ability to work on loosely defined tasks
* Flexible, able to manage stress, willing to go extra mile
