The U.S. Air Force is currently recruiting an experienced Control Systems Consultant to provide expert advice and services in the strategic governance that comes with design, implementation, and improvement of control systems. This role requires a deep understanding of the Air Force's operational needs and the ability to translate them into practical control system solutions. Prior Air Force or Pentagon experience is required.
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
2. More than five years of experience in control systems consulting, preferably within a military or defense context.
3. Develop overarching strategic vision and programs to establish organizational (i.e., non-technical) strategic plans and enterprise policies
4. Strong understanding of Air Force governance; culture, workforce and readiness assessments and visions; establish implementation priorities, risk management and performance analysis/metrics approaches.
5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, methodologies, and best practices to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions.
6. Work closely with clients to measure the success of implemented strategies and make necessary adjustments.
7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and exceeding expectations.
