IBM is in search of an Influencer Marketing Strategist to plan, execute, implement and measure integrated influencer engagements, while also ensuring the desired outcomes are achieved.
To bolster IBM’s leadership in the hybrid cloud and AI space, the Global Social Media + Influence team is responsible for translating our brand story, across our owned social channels to raise awareness around what we do as a company, our products, and solutions.
In this role you will work across teams to integrate and execute impactful external paid influencer campaigns. You will work within the Social Media + Influence team, and align all influencer work with the strategic social media plan. The role will be a part of the Influence + Advocacy team to explore trends and insights, and apply them to recommendations for external influencers.
Job responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement influencer engagements that align with the organization’s marketing and communications objectives. This may involve researching target audiences, analyzing competitors, and identifying key messaging and content themes.
- Work with our agency partners to plan and execute influencer campaigns.
- Conduct enablement for demand campaigns, and track with all other influencer engagements.
- Monitor and measure influencer performance. Analyze data and use it to optimize influencer engagements.
- Aggregate measurements across all influencer campaigns and then include them in monthly SM+I reports.
- Collect data-driven insights across the team, applying them to monthly reports.
- Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices. Knowledgeable about emerging social media platforms and tools.
- Recommend new creative opportunities and ways to work with external paid influencers, leveraging data-driven insights and trends.
- Collaborate with cross- team Social Media Strategists and Channel Managers to ensure the correct execution of the strategy.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
· 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience. Preferred relevant experience in social media, and/ or influencer engagements.
· Ability to manage a project from beginning to end, and report on the outcomes.
· Outstanding communication influencing and organizational skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent problem-solving ability.
· Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
· Experience managing global cross-discipline stakeholders across all levels.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
· Working knowledge of project management tools such as Slack, Monday.com, and OneDrive.
· Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools. Knowledge of Sprinklr is a plus.
