- This role will be a full-time rotational, 12 to 18-month Tour of Duty assignment within the EPH team under the HR domain. There will be an opportunity for possible extension based on future need and current performance.
- To qualify for this role, the candidate’s lending practice must guarantee that it will accept the individual back into the practice at the end of the tour. This must be done prior to the candidate accepting the role if offered.
Recruiting:
- Collaborate with the IBM Talent Acquisition team to support:
- Entry-level hiring to continuously improve recruiting strategies and ensure a successful recruiting season, focused on building a diverse pipeline of early professionals in GBS.
- Coordinating campus/virtual recruiting events and ensuring all recruiting assets (skills profiles, job requisitions, GBS-specific marketing materials, etc.) are finalized and convey appropriate and consistent messaging.
- Maintaining all recruiting data/workbooks (demand summary and detail, candidate tracking post offer acceptance, etc.) and managing alignment of candidates to start/Induction dates.
- Drive all activities leading up to onboarding events:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide pre onboarding support, answer questions and help resolve issues for incoming new hires
- Send detailed logistics to incoming new hires and lead logistics calls to review important information and provide reminders
- Ensure new hires have completed credentials in onboarding portal
- Host enablement call with Coaches of new hires
- Confirm cohort details and coordinate/confirm/prep leaders to facilitate onboarding modules
- Provide subject matter expertise to develop, update and deliver onboarding content
- Manage schedule, checklists, onboarding slack channels and new hire documentation
Liaise with domestic near-shore Client Innovation Center onboarding teams for areas requiring cross-collaboration.
Engagement:
- Create and send Associate communications pre and throughout the duration of the program
- Manage early professional slack channels, Associate quarterly all-hands calls and EPH Team w3 publisher site
- Manage recognition efforts to amplify Associates, Coaches and leadership accomplishments via internal and external IBM channels. E.g. Associate Rockstar Awards, IBM Consulting Associate Coach of the Quarter, etc.
- Build engagement through an Associate-managed program called LEAD (Local Enterprise for Activities and Development) by working with City Ambassadors, Associate Program Managers and LEAD chapters to increase LEAD engagement in each city
- Collaborate with Business Resource Groups to help assimilate new hires into diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Be a strong Band 8/9 with at least 3 years of client-facing consulting experience
- Have at least three years of experience within IBM Consulting/GBS
- Have at least 2 years of experience with recruiting and/or exposure to Talent acquisition processes
- Possess executive presence and have experience collaborating and engaging with IBM Executives
- Have excellent presentation creation skills and delivery experience to large audiences
- Have strong organization, time management, stakeholder management, written and oral communication skills
- Have a strong passion for building engagement and fostering relationships and community at all levels – with the Business, Associates, and the EPH team, both virtually and face-to-face
- Provide informal coaching and mentorship to early professionals during their program journey
- Project energy, enthusiasm, flexibility, and a growth mindset
- Create a safe, high-touch, IBMer-centric environment that encourages dialogue and encourages a sense of belonging
- Act with emotional intelligence when dealing with sensitive or challenging situations and people
- Give appropriate constructive feedback to students, team members, and business leaders with supporting examples and data, where required
- Deal with cultural and ethnic differences and needs sensitively and appropriately

- Being an Associate Experience or Consulting by Degrees alumni is a plus!
