In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Primary Focus: Specialized expertise in the inbound logistics processes within the EWM system.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for inbound operations, ensuring that inbound warehouse processes are designed and configured properly in EWM.
- Focus on receiving, unloading, and storing materials in the warehouse.
- Configure EWM to handle inbound tasks such as purchase order receipts, stock put-away, and inbound delivery management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inbound operations.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration between inbound operations and other warehouse functions.
Key Skills:
- Deep knowledge of inbound warehouse operations and processes.
- Expertise in configuring SAP EWM to optimize inbound processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to customize EWM for specific business requirements.
- Knowledge of integration points with other systems like SAP ERP, SAP TM (Transportation Management), and SAP WM (Warehouse Management).
