Project Managers are often the lead day-to-day subject matter expert (SME) providing strategic recommendations and analysis as well as responding to ad-hoc requests. The Blue Studio project manager is a key orchestrator, managing project expectations among stakeholders, the Blue Studio and agency partners to uphold our creative excellence. The role covers a few key tenets: execution team advocacy and operational excellence.
The Blue Studio Project Manager, Imagery, will report to the Blue Studio Global Practice Director, Brand, Workflow & Compliance. Based on the expectations of this role, the Project Manager should have experience working in marketing and/or digital services, alongside or in-house at agencies and/or design production studios.
- English proficiency (reading, writing, grammar, conversation)
- Understands what work is flowing through the IBM Blue Studio and external agency teams and acts as a voice to bring concerns or issues back to broader cross-functional teams
- Acts as the voice for the team, ensuring needs are met and positioning the team’s work correctly within any conversation
- Help the team evolve work processes based on efficiencies gained over time
- Guides short-term and long-term planning exercises with the creative team by putting appropriate structure and timelines in place meet forecast deman
- Develops detailed project plans to monitor and track project progress
- Communicates project status and project goals, ensuring project results meet requirements with respect to quality, efficacy, schedule, and cost
- Is responsible for escalation of service issues against assigned area of responsibility
- Ensures that appropriate creative workflows and prioritization exercises are routine and raises blockers as needed.
