IBM is seeking to hire a Technical Support Professional Intern currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a track record of success, in one of the following fields: Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Electronics, Telecommunications, Network Administration. This is a client facing role that provides high quality problem management support to IBM's clients running IMS Software.
• Adequate exposure to IMS, CICS, Db2z or other Mainframes (z/OS, MVS) Software technologies through university course work or projects.
• Adequate proficiency (Intermediate level or more) in IBM Assembler programming language.
• Currently pursuing the final year of a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be enrolled in an academic institution and not graduating before December 2026.
• Hands on work experience in IMS, CICS, Db2z or other Mainframes (z/OS, MVS) Software technologies. An IMS SYSPROG or DBA experience is a plus.
• Hands on work experience interpreting IMS (or other Mainframes Software) dumps, log records, system logs etc.
• Currently pursuing the final year of a Master's degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
