We are seeking an energetic, innovative and experienced product marketing champion to join our Software Product Marketing team for developer tooling & AI agent-building capabilities in watsonx. As a Product Marketer, you will be responsible for creating and articulating the point of view of audiences we serve and creating the value proposition for data to grow IBM’s market share, supporting revenue growth for products that are core to IBM. You will lead cross-IBM campaigns and product-level marketing and communications efforts to support pipeline generation and new client acquisition for the solution. The role includes deep collaboration with teams across geographies, including Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Clients and Business Partners.
In the role, you will drive the outcome of connecting differentiated POVs with the right buyers and experts, measured by new signings, retention rates, average customer value, absolute and trend NPS, market segment share, win loss rate, analyst ranking, and social influence.
· Act as the market catalyst for AI tooling, providing guiding views on key AI development challenges, emerging technologies, competitive offerings, and product differentiators – grounded in data, developers’ trends, and evolving model capabilities
· Identify opportunities, distinctive competencies, and strategic positioning for AI Tooling –including model development workflows, agentic frameworks orchestration technologies, and end-to-end developer experience across the AI lifecycle
· Translate technology into marketing messages and compelling stories that influence analysts, customers, and partners towards AI tooling
· Work across sales, product management, development, and design to effectively position IBM's software products
· Act as the launch linchpin that galvanizes internal support across all channels and drives demand for the offerings
· Stay active in customer conversations at events or in the field and online
- Experienced in Product or B2B Marketing.
- Ability to create client-centric messaging, targeting buyer pain points with differentiated value propositions.
- Ability to critically craft and shape client journeys and customer experiences, throughout the marketing funnel.
- Experience creating marketing business plans.
- Ability to engage product managers and architects to translate technology into compelling marketing message.
- Ability to deliver technical content like product demos.
- Market understanding of Data and AI technologies.
- Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies in generative AI.
- Experience developing audience-focused marketing strategies
