After 12 months, successful candidates will relocate to one of the following countries: UAE, KSA, Qatar, Turkey, Egypt or Morocco.
As a Sales Representative (Digital) role (what we internally call a 'Digital Sales Specialist') you will be developing trusted relationships, you'll work with clients and colleagues, to shape the future of their technology landscape, advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle. As we help you combine your technical education with consultative sales best practices, you will accelerate enterprises' success by providing award winning solutions across Data & AI; which means accelerating enterprises' success by improving their ability to understand their data. It means helping to provide solutions that enable people across organizations, in multiple roles, the ability to turn data into actionable insights without having to wait for IT. And it means helping to sell multi-award-winning software, and world-class design practices that enables business analysts to ask new questions. The answers to which are literally shaping the future and changing the world.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Solution-Selling: Learn and employ solution-selling techniques to identify and engage decision makers and influencers, qualify business opportunities, and respond to clients' needs.
- Opportunity Identification: Assisting your team in identifying up/cross-sell opportunities within your defined client & partner territory
- Collaborative Campaigns: Collaborating with IBM Marketing and Sales to develop new business campaigns.
- Client and IBM partner relationship management: Manage a dedicated client set and define, confirm and communicate the differentiated value of IBM's technology at both the technical and business level. Responsible for managing IBM partner relationships, ensuring mutual growth and business objectives alignment.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process and ensure delivery against KPIs, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
- Collaboration with IBM Ecosystem: Collaborate with the broader IBM sales ecosystem, from Marketing to Sales and technical colleagues, to IBM Business Partners, in order to build sales campaigns and incremental pipeline.
- Education: Completed Business degree or technical degree such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, for less than 2 years.
- Communication and Language Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling and influential. English & Local Language proficiency requested.
- Analytical Skills with a focus on using data for decision-making and achieving positive business outcomes.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit, able to work across multiple functions and levels within IBM and partners.
First experience with Sales and/or IT.
