We are seeking engineers for photolithography tool ownership, research, and development for semiconductors and related devices. In this role you will understand the fundamental principles and materials and tooling in photolithography through a combination of relevant education and work experience. You will also have strong skills in designing experiments, analyzing data, documenting procedures, and communicating results to a broad team.
Some of the job responsibilities include maintaining and qualifying state of the art lithography process equipment and developing processes and materials from an early concept stage into a mature element that enables a leading-edge technology. You will focus on 193nm and i-line lithography tooling (tracks) and target chiplet and packaging technology research and development. You will interact with cross-functional and multi-company working teams that include engineers engaged in all areas of semiconductor including process development, process integration, metrology, operations, and equipment engineering. You must possess strong analytical and design-of-experiment knowledge, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English. You must be willing to work in Albany, NY, with rare instances of travel.
- 2 years of experience working with lithography tooling
- Experience with constructive problem solving and design of experiments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- 5 years of experience with 193nm and i-line clean tracks (Pro-Z or Pro-AP)
- Experience with thick resists and FBEOL processing
- Industry experience with semiconductor research and development
- Technical writing skills
- Lithography tooling installation experience
