Our Marketing, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility (MCC) team tells this story and is responsible for positioning IBM in the market. We define and optimize IBM’s brand, capture the market’s attention, and articulate our point of view for clients, partners, the media, and even other IBMers.
This role supports our IBM.com team, which is responsible for continually advancing our site experience to delight visitors, enable them to easily complete their objectives, and compel them to raise their hands and engage with the IBM team.
As a Web Project Manager, you’ll work collaboratively with our team to tackle strategic projects that address business challenges as well as learn the day-to-activities of a Web Project Manager.
Through disciplined project management practices including process efficiency analysis, refinement, and reporting, the PMO team projects capacity and aids in full resource allocation for optimal business impact.
- Supports one or more discipline teams with documentation and organization for waterfall or traditional projects
- Conducts audits and builds data sets in support of project
- Creates and maintains project artifacts, notes, and action plans to build resource capacity planning
- Is a responsible team player demonstrating ownership and accountability for tasks assigned
In addition to your work assignments, the internship includes educational, networking, and social activities. Between your assignments and intern programming, you’ll get to touch a variety of areas within Marketing.
This is a Hybrid role, attendance in the office will be required only 3 times per week. We will be concluding the recruitment process for this role in late April. Please submit your application before that time.
- Currently enrolled in a university degree program
- Passionate about project management or a related field
- Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understands the basic principles of project management
- Proficient in basic office platforms, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of website design and performance metrics
- Basic knowledge of problem-solving and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles
- A strategic, consultative, data-driven mindset
