The Storage Deep Archive development team is a dynamic, exciting team with a lot of opportunities to challenge yourself. The team is located in Tucson, AZ. As a core member of the development team, you will be expected to work autonomously and deliver on project phases with the agile framework.. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of infrastructure solutions and get visibility to almost all areas of the IBM Infrastructure portfolio. You will drive Deep Archive Development initiatives across a globally distributed team primarily operating in Mexico, and the United States. We are looking for a first-line manager to join our Deep Archive Development team for IBM Storage program.
The responsibilities of the Storage Development Manager include:
· Lead and manage a team of Tape and Deep Arvhive development engineers for IBM Storage development organization.
· Provide direction and prioritization in development life cycle process.
· Manage escalations, communications, and interlocks with peer managers.
· Encourage an environment of courageous and creative innovation, from recognizing needs and generating ideas, to implementing and advocating new ways of working.
· Apply new approaches and solutions for process improvements, automation, and efficiency.
· Foster skills growth and career development of your direct reports.
· Recognize and advance employee talent across the organization.
· Embrace and promote a culture of feedback and recognition.
· Seek opportunities for more client engagement and use of customer-facing experiences to provide value-add services.

Familiarity or background with IBM Storage, Power, and/or Z technology

· Ability to collaborate and influence across Storage Systems Development, Systems Assurance and other ORGs.
