IBM seeks an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to join the FALCON program, supporting the modernization and enhancement of mission-critical systems within a cloud-based environment. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust DevSecOps pipelines and platform infrastructure to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable system deployments. The DevOps/Platform Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to streamline software delivery processes and maintain the operational health of platforms.
· 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or a related role.
· Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Harness.io., and in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
· Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWS ECS).
· Hands-on experience with as AWS.
· Understanding of security best practices and DevSecOps principles.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools New Relic and Splunk. Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and cloud networking services.
• Exposure to Agile development and collaboration tools like Jira or Confluence.
