IBM is seeking an experienced and dynamic Client Value Acceleration (CVA) Partner Sales Execution Leader to lead our new program partner management and partner go-to-market execution on a worldwide scale. The ideal candidate will bring a unique combination of expertise in Sales, working with Business Partners, Software Asset Management (SAM) best practices, Software Deployment and Adoption, and IBM Authorized CVA Provider Program with strong leadership skills to manage and lead the CVA Program globally.
As the WW CVA Partner Sales Execution Leader, you will collaborate with IBM’s IASP and CVA Authorized partners, IBM Global Go-To-Market (GTM) leaders, Program Practice leaders, and other IBM and CVA / IASP Partner stakeholders to execute a customer-centric CVA partner’s roadmap that drives business targets: revenue, transformation and software deployment and adoption. You will guide the CVA program partners and resources across various geographies and markets, ensuring successful program delivery, partner success and client satisfaction.
Lead and Mentor: Lead CVA BPs helping them in selling the value of the CVA program to IBM Clients AND helping them build their own growth model, working with CVA program and expanding on it. Focus on acquiring both new and existing IASP clients, encouraging them to adopt the new CVA program. Partner closely with CVA Leaders in markets GEO and WW AND Software Licensing Leaders on WW and Geo / Market level for best outcomes & teaming.
Drive Revenue Growth: Contribute to the growth of IBM by ensuring timely and accurate Partner/Client reporting and resolution of reporting results (both over deployments and not deployed software). Partner closely with IBM Sales and broader internal and external stakeholders to help drive business results.
Collaborate with Clients and Partners: Work alongside Clients and Business Partners to define and prioritize the CVA program execution roadmap based on market trends, client feedback, and business goals.
Customer Feedback Integration: Gather insights from Clients and Business Partners to understand their needs and translate them into actionable improvements for the CVA program.
Ensure Program Alignment: Ensure that the WW CVA Program aligns with IBM’s GTM organizational priorities and the evolving needs of our clients.
Foster a Customer-First Mindset: Champion a ‘customer-first’ culture by delivering intuitive and impactful results through the CVA program, ensuring we meet and exceed client expectations.
Experience: International experience and/or WW leadership experience. Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships and driving business results.
Skills: Understanding of IBM Software Contracts (ELAs in particular), knowledge and experience with IBM Software License Terms, experience with SAM practices & IBM’s IASP Deployment program and best practices.
Leadership: Strong communication and leadership skills & guide and inspire cross-functional teams.
Experience Level: Candidate must be at least Band 9, ideally Band 10.
Sales & Negotiations Expertise: Sales and Negotiation skills with ability to negotiate at a Partner C Level Client Executive. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through program execution and client partnerships.
