At IBM you will be equiped with domain-specific AI assitants, agents and applications based on the IBM Consulting Advantage platform. IBM Consulting Advantage will enable you to gain deeper insights and improve delivery efficiencies compared to the traditional SAP delivery approaches.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Votre rôle et vos responsabilités

As a senior managing SAP consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the implementation and configuration of SAP procurement solutions. You will ideally have a strong background in SAP Materials Management, with a deep understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and materials planning. Additional skills related to the SAP Ariba module will be an advantage.

 

In addition to the delivery role you will be provided with the opportuntiy to participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal development. These activities will help you to acquire new skills, work across different disciplines, take on new challenges, and develop a comprehensive understanding of what is currently happening in the market place.

 

Your Impact:

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions
  • Consult our clients on S/4HANA migration and deployment options, as well as roadmap differences between releases and new innovations in the area of materials management module and other related modules
  • Configure and customize SAP MM settings to meet business needs
  • Prepare test case and support test execution as part of the implementation of SAP procurement solutions
  • Provide training and support to end users on SAP procurement functionality
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the SAP procurement solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on SAP procurement best practices and trends

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP MM with minimum 2 end-to-end implementations from project preparation to go-live and transition to support
  • At least 1 year of experience with implementation of migration experience with SAP S/4HANA
  • At least 3 years of consulting experience
  • Sound business process knowledge of materials management, inventory and procurement processes
  • Expert knowledge in SAP MM Material Management (incl. MM-PUR, MM-IM)
  • An ability to pro-actively take ownership of, and analytical problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal / written communications skills
  • Fluent in English and German (written and verbal)
  • Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport
