MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A bachelor's degree in any of the following: Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Information Science, Consumer Behavior, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of research methodologies.
Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in UX research or a related field, with a proven track record of conducting user research, analyzing data, developing insights, and communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Research Skills:
Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, proficiency in data collection and analysis, and the ability to triangulate data from a combination of data sources to derive inspiring, revealing and actionable insights, identifying opportunities for product development.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading/mentoring other UX researchers (only for senior levels).
- Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including product stakeholders, designers, and engineers.
Ability to communicate complex research findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders, using clear and concise language, and to tailor communication to meet the needs of different audiences.
Collaboration and Leadership:

Experience managing all stages of research design and implementation, including project planning, timelines, and resource allocation.
Technical Skills:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (but not required)
Advanced Degree: A Master's or Ph.D. in Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Information Science, Consumer Behavior, Human-Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, or Social Sciences.
Substantial User Experience Research Expertise: 6+ years of experience in user experience research, with a strong background in research methods that inform both product direction and detailed experience design, is preferred.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, characterized by a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality, are highly preferred.
Agile Methodology Experience: Experience working in highly agile/scrum environments, with the ability to adapt to rapid change and prioritize tasks effectively, is desirable.
- Domain Expertise: Domain knowledge in the business-to-business software space, especially in AI, Automation or Application development is desirable.
Ownership and Adaptability: The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, practice accountability and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments is highly preferred.
