- PhD in an applicable area of quantum computing, such as fault tolerant quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, complexity theory, quantum error correction, or compilation.
- Demonstrated independent theoretical research in industry or academia related to the fields listed above
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals and top conference proceedings.
- Programming experience in core & scientific language (e.g. python, numpy, scipy, matplotlib) and Qiskit
- Record of communicating technical results through conferences, funding program meetings, and seminars
- Successful record of collaborative work
