Devices@IBM Geo Lead. This Leader is responsible for overseeing the management and performance of assets within a specific geographical region. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and ensuring that operational metrics within the region meet or exceed performance targets. The Geo Lead will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to optimize operations, user experience and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
•Collaborate with Global CIO counterparts and implement strategic plans for the management of assets within the designated region.
•Identify opportunities and potential risks within the region.
•Collaborate with Local Business Units to align regional strategies with overall Devices Strategy.
Operational Management:
•Oversee the day-to-day operations within the region , collaborating with EAM and Outsourced Vendors
•Ensure refurbished devices are maintained to high standards, addressing maintenance and operational issues promptly.
•Monitor asset performance, conducting regular reviews and audits.
Financial Performance:
•Develop and manage budgets for the region, ensuring financial targets are met.
•Analyse financial data to make informed decisions on devices management.
•Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Stakeholder Management:
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CFOs, local Compliances, and service providers.
•Act as the primary point of contact for all regional asset-related inquiries.
•Ensure effective communication and reporting to stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance:
•Ensure all assets within the region comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
•Keep abreast of changes in regulations and adjust management practices accordingly.
•Collaborate with Global Business Control Compliance team to mitigate any associated risks
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
•Implement performance metrics and KPIs to track Vendor performance.
•Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
•Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvements.
