As a Field Marketing professional, you will work closely with Asia Pacific and country based Field Marketing managers to develop and execute the technology marketing plans. You will be focused on supporting in curation of the product messaging and positioning, definition of the target persona and the narrative for the demand generation campaigns that supports the product as well as our strategic partners.
As a Field Marketing Manager, you must be self-motivated, demonstrate excellent team collaboration and proficient business acumen, and must have bring through some basic understanding of marketing as well as good understanding of the B2B software industry overall.
IBM Field Marketing Professional combines deep knowledge of:
· clients, how they buy and are influenced, and through which channels, with priority Market Products and lead offerings
· industry trends and where the market is heading towards
· clients' transformation agenda differentiated by client buyer roles and domains
· IBM's thought leadership and expertise areas
Your responsibilities will include:
· Maintain up to date knowledge of technology trends. Leverage broad and deep technology and industry expertise to engage decision makers and key influencers with highly contextual insights into the benefits of emerging technology adoption and competitive perspective.
· Collaborate with the business to generate demand for IBM products and solutions to accelerate growth by leveraging data and account insights.
· Support in planning and execution of marketing programs that represent the voice of the customers and places our differentiates our offerings.
· Support and lead activities that involve quantifying and segmenting the market opportunity based on patterns of unmet needs, understanding how we compare versus the competition.
· Partner with multi-functional teams in articulating IBM's point of view, marrying the unmet needs of the target segment with a differentiated solution, and describing how solution attributes deliver desired outcomes.
You will use your analytical skills and attention to detail to:
· Combine social, event, and content marketing efforts to assist in creating integrated marketing campaigns to promote IBM’s products.
· Work closely with field marketers to compile reports and presentations for senior executives and professionals
· Complete accurate and effective measurement, reporting and analysis for senior business leaders.
· Excel, Powerpoint, Excel Microsoft Word (Intermediate skills favourable)
· Genuine interest in the IT/Technology industry
· Very good written & oral communication skills
· Ability to work independently (self-directed) and as part of a team
· Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail
· Knowledge about the leading technologies including Cloud, AI, Automation, Security Softwares, Databases and servers
