To lead the delivery of procurement and sourcing services across client engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes, strong stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement. The Procurement Delivery Manager drives operational excellence by managing teams, executing strategic sourcing initiatives, and aligning procurement delivery with client and business objectives.
1. Staffing and Team Management:
- Manage all aspects related to staffing the procurement team.
- Support and drive the success and growth of all team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
2. Value Alignment and Standards Enforcement:
- Adhere to, apply, and enforce the highest standards of IBM values and principles.
- Communicate organizational Checkpoint goals and guide team members towards successful completion.
- Review Checkpoint results and assess performance.
3. Development Planning and Performance Management:
- Prepare and execute team and individual development plans.
- Resolve customer satisfaction and performance issues.
- Approve staffing plans for all potential new engagements.
4. Stakeholder Interface and Collaboration:
- Interface with internal and external key stakeholders for governance management.
- Work with project executives and PMO to understand client expectations and requirements.
- Participate in periodic customer reviews and contribute to engagement profitability through efficient resource and expense management.
5. Compliance and Accountability:
- Coordinate operational plans to ensure all engagement SLA's and KPI's are met.
- Account for business controls (KCO, SOX) guidelines and compliance.
