In this role you are an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Director of Partner Marketing who will lead and expand our partner marketing function. In this role you are critical in driving our go-to-market success with key partner including technology alliances with system integrators, channel partners, and IBM stakeholders. You are responsible for developing and executing integrated partner marketing strategies to grow pipeline, accelerate co-sell motions, and drive joint value with IBM Apptio’s partner ecosystem.
You are responsible for the following:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and lead the partner marketing strategy aligned to IBM Apptio’s business objectives and partner ecosystem priorities, including IBM, hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and global GSIs.
- Program Execution: Create and manage scalable co-marketing programs (campaigns, events, digital, ABM, content) that generate awareness, demand, and revenue with and through partners.
- Support north star objectives and motions: Collaborate and align to Ecosystem objectives with partner sales leaders to drive co-sell pipeline, influence revenue growth, and optimize joint go-to-market execution (Sell, Service, Strategic).
- Pipeline Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs and measure the success of partner marketing programs; communicate results and insights to senior leadership.
- Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing Americas partner marketing team (strong influence for Global Partner Marketing), fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with at least 5 years in partner or alliance marketing leadership roles.
- Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies with enterprise technology partners and cloud providers.
- Deep understanding of partner ecosystems, co-sell programs, and alliance structures particularly within IBM or similar global tech environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and partner marketing tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA a plus.
