IBM Consulting is seeking a strategic Program Manager to serve as the critical bridge between our internal capabilities and Private Equity firm expectations, ensuring seamless delivery excellence across portfolio company engagements while building enduring relationships with PE senior partners. This role operates at the intersection of complex program coordination and client relationship management, taking ownership of multi-faceted projects that span across portfolio companies within PE firms' investment portfolios. The Program Manager will be responsible for translating IBM's diverse consulting capabilities into compelling value propositions for PE stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring our internal teams deliver exceptional results that drive measurable value creation for portfolio companies. This position requires sophisticated program oversight skills combined with the executive presence to engage directly with PE senior partners, positioning IBM Consulting as the preferred strategic partner for operational transformation, technology implementation, and performance improvement initiatives across their investment portfolios.

Su función y responsabilidades
 This Program Manager will take comprehensive ownership of IBM Consulting's delivery excellence across Private Equity portfolio company engagements, serving as the primary liaison between internal project teams and PE firm senior partners to ensure consistent value delivery and relationship development. 

Key responsibilities include developing sophisticated internal reporting frameworks that capture project progress, value realization, and performance metrics across multiple portfolio companies, then translating these complex data sets into executive-level external communications tailored for PE stakeholders. 

The role demands building and maintaining strategic relationships with PE senior partners, serving as their primary point of contact for IBM Consulting capabilities and ensuring their portfolio companies receive exceptional service delivery. 

The Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional internal teams across multiple concurrent engagements, taking accountability for project quality, timeline adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction while identifying opportunities for expanded IBM Consulting services within PE portfolios. 

Additional responsibilities include developing PE-specific service offerings, supporting business development initiatives with prospective PE clients, and establishing best practices for PE engagement management that can be scaled across IBM Consulting's broader market approach.

Candidates must demonstrate extensive program management experience with complex, multi-workstream engagements involving diverse stakeholder groups and competing priorities. 

Essential qualifications include proven ability to synthesize complex internal reporting into executive-level external communications, with strong capability in developing tailored presentations, dashboards, and strategic updates for senior leadership audiences. 

The role requires exceptional project ownership skills, including accountability for delivery quality, timeline management, and stakeholder satisfaction across concurrent engagements. 

Candidates must possess strong analytical and synthesis capabilities to translate technical deliverables into business impact narratives, along with experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple service lines. 

Essential skills include executive communication, relationship building with C-level stakeholders, and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics while maintaining clear accountability for program outcomes and client satisfaction.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year. 

This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
