The Business Sales and Delivery Lead will be responsible for leading both the sales and delivery aspects of IBM's Hybrid Cloud, Data and Application Operations services. This role involves managing key client relationships, driving growth, and overseeing high-performing teams. The successful candidate will report into both Client Partner and Service Line leadership in a matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales efforts for Hybrid Cloud, Data and Application Operations services within assigned accounts, focusing on incremental growth.
- Lead and manage cross-functional delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships at the executive level, acting as the primary point of contact for key clients.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop strategic solutions that meet client needs and align with IBM's offerings.
- Work effectively in a matrix environment, coordinating with various stakeholders, including Client Partners and Service Line leadership.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and delivery efficiency.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on Hybrid Cloud, Data and Application Operations services.
- Contribute to the development of sales and delivery methodologies, tools, and playbooks.
Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week subject to business needs.
- Proven track record of leadership in sales and delivery roles, preferably within the technology or consulting industries.
- Extensive experience in managing large, complex deals and client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of Hybrid Cloud, Data, and Application Operations services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
- Prior experience working in a matrix organization.
- Knowledge of IBM's services and offerings, particularly in the Hybrid Cloud, Data and Application Operations domain.
- Experience in driving strategic initiatives and process improvements.
- Strong project management skills.
- MBA or relevant master's degree would be advantageous.
