The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including interfaces for email templates and landing pages, integrations, data extensions, and automations. They collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. This role involves customizing and configuring Marketing Cloud modules, using HTML and CSS, integrating with external systems, and optimizing marketing campaigns.
- Designing and developing solutions, including integrations, data extensions, and automations, within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
- Designing and developing user interface solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
- Responsible for email and landing page creation
- Customizing Marketing Cloud modules to meet business requirements.
- Integrating Marketing Cloud with other systems and data sources.
- Creating and maintaining email templates, journeys, and automations.
- Manage journey logic for audience specifications.
- Implementing personalization and segmentation strategies for targeted marketing campaigns.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within Marketing Cloud implementations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including audience build leads, user interface developers, and client marketing teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Staying updated on the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and best practices.
- Collaborate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Proven experience as a developer.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration and development.
- ability to design end to end journeys in SFMC Journey Builder
- Experience with AMPscript for email scripting and customization.
- Ability to create email templates, content blocks, and emails within Content Builder
- Strong SQL skills
- Knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to use Litmus, Email on Acid, and other tools to build emails that perform on popular email clients and devices
- Experience designing and developing user interfaces for email templates and landing pages.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles
