As a Digital Technical Specialist Intern, you'll be a collaborative technical expert and trusted advisor working with and across your clients, IBM's broader sales teams, and Business Partners. You'll understand clients' business and technical requirements within the current competitive landscape and, combining this with your knowledge of IBM's product suite, you'll present value-driving solutions that compel clients to invest in us.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with your squad to design use-cases and proofs of concept in response to prospective clients’ requests for information (RFIs).
- Prospecting to identify potential new clients and opportunities for expansion with existing clients utilizing video, digital tools, and cold calling techniques.
- Understanding your prospective clients’ buying cycles to accurately predict the potential and timing of deal closures.
- Technical Sales - Provide technical support in early tech sales, including demos, proofs of concept, and workshops.
- Collaboration with IBM Teams: Collaborate with IBM sales teams using various tools.
- Product Advocacy: Highlight the advantages of IBM’s products.
- Digital Personal Branding: Build a strong personal brand for trust and credibility on digital platforms.

Readiness to travel up to 10% annually.

Actively Enrolled: Registered undergraduate or graduate university student.
