Introduction

You are an IT specialist for system integration and have current cloud knowledge. You will work in an interdisciplinary teams and actively contribute to migrate existing applications from Linux/AIX hosts to container or assist the dev team to build new applications running on the cloud. You will also be responsible of the used infrastructure (OpenShift and/or IBM Cloud).

Your role and responsibilities

You will be responsible for building/maintaining/operating OpenShift, Kubernetes, IBM Cloud and GitOps solutions.
You will support Kubernetes projects during implementation / deployment / maintenance phases.

Required education
Technical Diploma
Preferred education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

Technical expertise:

  • Good knowledge of Linux, RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes
  • Basic knowledge of deployment management tools (e.g. Helm)
  • First experiences in containerized application deployment/operation
  • First experiences with CI/CD and GitOps (e.g. Git, Tekton Pipelines, ArgoCD)

Non-Technical expertise:

  • Problem Determination / Problem Source Identification /Fixing
  • Work independently on given tasks
  • On Call-Duty 7/24 support
Preferred technical and professional experience

German language skills
