In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
The position is suitable for candidates who have graduated in Computer Science or a related subject and have a basic understanding of the .NET framework. The candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications using the .NET framework. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as continuous improvement of existing codebases.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development using .NET technologies
Proficient in C# and .NET (Core/Framework)
Experience with ASP.NET MVC and/or ASP.NET Core
Familiarity with Web APIs / RESTful services
Solid understanding of OOP principles (encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction)
Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
Practical experience implementing common design patterns (e.g., Factory, Repository, Singleton, Dependency Injection, Strategy)
Ability to choose the right pattern based on problem context
Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, or Dapper
Solid understanding of data modeling, joins, stored procedures, and query optimization
Working experience with at least one cloud platform (preferably Azure or AWS)
Services: App Services, Blob Storage, Functions, Key Vault, etc.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with at least one frontend framework (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor)
Understanding of responsive design and basic UX principles
