As a Technology Partner Specialist Sell, you will help drive IBM’s Saas growth on AWS Marketplace by supporting strategic partners (Resellers, SIs, and AWS-skilled partners) in your assigned territory via DSOR program. You’ll learn to execute partner led co selling via AWS DSOR frameworks, ensuring partners are enabled to lead transactions and build repeatable best practises focused on IBM Saas Technology via AWS Marketplace

Associate Technology Partner Specialist – AWS Marketplace Saas

Mission:

As a Technology Partner Specialist Sell, you will help drive IBM’s Saas growth on AWS Marketplace by supporting strategic partners (Resellers, SIs, and AWS-skilled partners) in your assigned territory via DSOR program. You’ll learn to execute partner led co selling via AWS DSOR frameworks, ensuring partners are enabled to lead transactions and build repeatable best practises focused on IBM Saas Technology via AWS Marketplace

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and Grow Partner led IBM Technology Saas via AWS Marketplace 
    • Assist in onboarding and enabling with the VADs your assigned partners to sell IBM Saas Technology via AWS Marketplace.
    • Help partners navigate Private Offers, and co-sell programs 
  2. Enable Partner Success
    • Coordinate training/certifications for partners on IBM’s Saas technology offerings on AWS Marketplace
    • Provide partners with playbooks, battlecards, and demand-gen tools to accelerate deals.
    • Manage opportunities through IBM ISC and work within ICEM and 9 Question frameworks
    • Build join partner plans through QUIP
  3. Execute Co-Sell 
    • Work with IBM BPST, DSS, TSR, PTS and seller teams to drive co sell strategies and initiatives in delivering OI yielding IBM Saas Technology via AWS Marketplace with your assigned partners
    • Collaborate with AWS sellers and Alliance teams to build partner presence and drive programs for success across your assigned partner territory
    • Coordinate planning sessions with assigned partners, IBM sales teams and AWS sales teams to drive targeted customer acquisition and programs

 

  1. Analyse & Optimise Performance
    • Track partner sourced pipeline and revenue in your territory against targets
    • Identify growth opportunities through data driven insights.
    • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with your assigned partners to assess performance and growth objectives

Development & Growth:

  • Structured Learning: Training on IBM Technology, AWS Marketplace, and partner sales strategies.
  • Mentorship: Work alongside experienced TPS leaders and AWS partner managers.
  • Career Path: Progress to full Technology Partner Specialist Sell or Service (Band 7+) roles with proven success managing high propensity strategic partnerships.

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional (0–2 years) interested in Technology sales and Alliances
  • A collaborative problem-solver eager to learn IBM Ecosystem GTM, co-selling, and AWS Marketplace dynamics.
  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/IBM Cloud) is a plus, but not required.
