As a Software Development intern, you will be learning coding fundamentals together with other frameworks and technologies to build up a solid foundation that will help you easier perform in any of our projects. You will work together with our senior developers to gain essential knowledge and apply learnt skills in a real project with one of our client partners.

The IBM Internship is on full time schedule, 3-months contract. The candidate can be offered the option of a permanent position in IBM.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. - Study relevant courses for the knowledge used in your field
- Demonstrate and quickly build upon development fundamentals
- Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain application programs
- Establish an open relationship with customers, teammates, and other members of the IT organization
- Complete assigned tasks as directed in a timely manner using good object-oriented coding practices and standards
- Collaborate with project team members during development process
- Student in final year of fresh graduate of Computer Science or related (Cybernetics/ Politechnica/ Mathematics etc)
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming languages
- Good understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Rapid and motivated self-learner
- Communicative and adaptable
- Resilience in learning, adopting and working with different frameworks
- Fluent in English. A second language would be an advantage
- Good understanding of Java Basics
- Knowledgeable with software design patterns, multiple languages and development paradigms
- It would be a bonus to have experience with Python, Spring, Maven, an ORM framework and microservices
