This position will be held within the Growth Marketing team. We are a highly collaborative, team-oriented and results-focused group. This team drives an end-to-end approach to delivering consistent pipeline across the customer journey for Apptio: including planning, execution, reporting and continual optimization and improvement.
As a copy writer and editor, you will help drive our demand generation marketing activities by creating engaging short form copy that activates content across multiple channels. You will also be the primary copy editor for all marketing content including eBooks, whitepapers, email promotions and registration pages and more.
· Write compelling marketing copy for use across a variety of channels like email, social media, ads
· Proofread materials with a high level of attention to detail and provide suggestions based on spelling, grammatical accuracy and alignment to the Apptio style and voice.
· Have a passion for understanding and communicating technical topics clearly and concisely while aligning to our brand messaging and tone
· Communicate proactively and effectively with cross-functional stakeholders on timelines and deliverables
· Skilled in project management and efficient in handling queries
· Masters in English /Journalism or equivalent
· 3-4+ years of professional experience in a copywriting and proofreading role
· Experience in IT industry and B2B SaaS software
· Working experience with common office software such as Excel, Smartsheet, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
· Samples of writing would be great if available
· Experience working with a corporate environment with HQ in the United States is preferred
