Lead and manage a team of invoice verification analysts to ensure seamless operations and high-quality invoice processing.
Oversee the end-to-end invoice verification process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to SLAs.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Act as a point of escalation for complex invoice discrepancies and vendor disputes.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Finance, and Accounting teams, to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies in all invoice verification activities.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's technical and process-related skills.
Drive automation and process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development of team members.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and support initiatives to enhance vendor satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in invoice verification, accounts payable, or a related finance function.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably leading a team in invoice verification or accounts payable.
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, PO matching, tax compliance, and financial controls.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar platforms).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis.
- Experience with automation tools and AI-driven invoice processing solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
