Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Analytics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our business analytics deliverables and operations. This hands-on management position requires a technically skilled individual who can handle large data processing and business analytics modeling while actively mentoring and guiding a primarily junior team. Your expertise will help develop their skills and capabilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will ensure high-quality deliverables, manage data infrastructure, automate data pipelines, and maintain stringent operations and data quality controls.

  • Lead and develop a team of over 10 business analysts, guiding their professional growth.

  • Understand business requirement, propose solutions, and deliver results with quality

  • Hands-on development of data models, implementation of automated data pipelines.

  • Rapidly adapt to new analytics models and technologies, proficiently managing ETL processes and data visualization.

  • Efficient in managing monthly operations and ensuring data quality

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in business analytics practices

  • Collaborate with global team in a fast agile environment, has flexibility in working hours to accommodate US-India interlocks, including some nighttime availability

 

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience, with a strong track record of mentoring and developing team members.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial, business, or Cloud data analysis.

  • Hands-on expertise in delivering Python and/or SQL code.

  • Knowledge in database management and data science methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Has Project Management or Operational skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Proven ability in querying databases, troubleshooting SQL issues, and setting up relational database tables and views.

  • Experience in ETL processes, data extraction, cleansing, and providing insights from large datasets.

  • Familiarity with database solutions (DB2, MySQL) and Cloud Computing.

  • Familiarity with Apptio, Kinaxis, and GitHub is a plus

  • Experience managing team working on business data analytics
