Your role and responsibilities

The Data Analyst is responsible for overseeing our data systems and reporting frameworks, guaranteeing the integrity and precision of data. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information, which will then be analysed to glean insights that drive strategic business decisions. Data analysts are tasked with enhancing analytical and reporting functions 

 

Your primary responsibilities include: 

 

·       Gather data from all the sources, ensuring the upkeep of databases and data systems.

·       Cleanse data and scrutinize System generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors.

·       Identify opportunities for process enhancements.

·       Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.

·       Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations.

·       Engage with various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.

·       Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets.

·       Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.

·       Work closely with Managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.

·       Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.

·       Source the input data from the identified databases and draw them into structural form for further use.

·       Focus on innovation to reduce team efforts.

·       Work towards individual and team goals effectively.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

·     Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, disciplines like IT or technology preferred. 

·     2 to 3 years’ experience in Technology and Automation. 

·     Knowledge of progressive technical tools.

·     Ability to code complex SQL queries in relational database environment (MySQL, Oracle) Power BI Dashboard. 

·     Analysing complex business data and deriving insights through Dashboards (in Power BI/Tableau/ MS Excel etc.) 

·     Microsoft Office - Advanced Excel, Macros, Automation

Preferred technical and professional experience

·     Experience in working with remote teams (Onsite – Offshore Setup) 

·     Domain knowledge of Supply Chain would be an add-on 

·     Experience in advanced analytics and tools like Python, R etc. 

·     Understanding of machine learning, data mining and experience in algorithmic program development and coding
