In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Architect You'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native Java applications within secure VPC environments.
  • Build scalable microservices using Quarkus and expose APIs via REST and SOAP web services.
  • Implement event-driven communication using Apache Kafka.
  • Develop and maintain UI components using JSF, where applicable.
  • Ensure high performance, resilience, and availability of backend systems.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Must be an Engineering Graduate (BE / BTech ) or MCA  with minimum 12+ & 4 years of education. 
  • Good to have skill : Provision and manage AWS services such as ECS Fargate, S3
  • Lambda using Terraform
