This role resides within Apptio, a software division within IBM that provides industry leading enterprise software for Technology Business Management, cloud cost optimization, and scaled Agile software.
As a member of the global team within Apptio’s Customer Success (Post Sales) department you will impact how the global teams operate, increasing efficiency, efficacy, and reporting of their work.
• Execute all admin activities within your assigned primary tool of WorkTarget (internally built customer onboarding tool based on the Targetprocess, an Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software).
• Provide additional admin activities across the portfolio of other tools of our department, including: Gainsight CS, Gainsight PX, & Gong.io to provide coverage and support to their respective primary administrators.
• Collaborate with tool business owners and strategic leaders to optimize current configurations and improved functionalities across tools.
• Bring forth suggestions on improvements and new functionality across tools and work with business leaders on approvals and implementation plans.
• Be a knowledgeable point of contact for help, support, and collaboration to key tooling not administrated within our department, such as Salesforce, Amplitude, Slack, Microsoft Office, Tableau, etc.
• Provide reporting and analysis within tools (and in Excel/other tools as needed).
• Develop documentation and training materials for tooling features & functionality.
• Drive a variety of tasks, projects, programs, and various key initiatives to fruition.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in administration of departmental or company tooling.
• Department / company admin experience within at least one or more related tool types: CRM, PPM, EAP. Common examples include Salesforce (salesforce.com), Gainsight CS, Workfront, Smartsheet, Jira, Planview, Asana, Wrike.
• General experience working with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and RESTful APIs, with the ability to quickly adapt to JavaScript syntax for building and maintaining internal tool integrations.
• Ability to learn quickly, including analyzing and interpreting existing code written in JavaScript, JSON, or API-related formats and making effective modifications.
• Expert skills in Microsoft Excel.
