In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Associate Package Specialist, you'll help clients with the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions. You will take your foundational development skills combined with your knowledge of data and the experience you will gain in deep consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients’ business environment such as SAP, Salesforce, RPA, Oracle Applications, and Appian. - Work with a variety of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB), operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android), and modern UI frameworks (Backbone.js, AngularJS, React.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, and JQuery).
- Work across the entire system architecture, from backend to front end, to design, develop, and support high quality and scalable products.
- Create everything from mockups and UI components to algorithms and data structures as you deliver a complete minimally viable product.
- Support Technical Consultants and lead in building solutions and providing technical mentoring and guidance.
- Exposure to ChatGPT, CoPilot, and software application such as Salesforce, RPA, Appian, Oracle, and SAP.
This role requires candidates to work on-site 5 days a week in the Rocket Center, West Virginia office. Must live within 50 miles of Rocket Center, WV.
These positions are anticipated to begin in Summer 2026.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance while in IBM Consulting-Federal

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google Cloud
- Exposure to generative AI modelling, ethics, and methodologies
- Exposure to best practices around design patterns, performance tuning, automated and unit testing
- Exposure to in Scala, R, SAS, SQL, Hadoop, HTML, SPSS, VBA, Tableau, Spark, Angular, and ReactJS
