In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

At IBM, our Project Managers play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. As a Project Manager for our premier Software Development Location, you’ll be at the forefront of driving project direction, defining metrics, and managing performance to meet client expectations. Join our dynamic team shaping the future of AI-infused management features for hybrid cloud solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with Architects, DevOps Engineers, site operations, product executives, and Offering Managers in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary squad environment. 
  • Employee Engagement: Drive developer and employee engagement through customized programs and initiatives to create an engaging and exciting workplace.

Required technical and professional expertise

1.    Project Management Certification and Methodology Application: Mandatory PMBOK/PMP Certification with at least 5 years of experience applying the PMBOK methodology.

2.    Project Management Tools: Proficiency demonstrated in MS Project and Smartsheet.

3.    Agile Methodologies: Solid understanding and practical experience with Scrum and SAFe methodologies.

4.    SAP Project Management: Extensive experience managing SAP projects.

5.    Data Governance Frameworks: Demonstrated experience working with data governance frameworks.

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • JIRA/Confluence: Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project management purposes. 

  • Business Intelligence Tools: Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for creating reports and visualizations.

  • CPG/Beverages Industry Experience: Background in consumer packaged goods or beverages industry, with a focus on project management.

  • Change Management Certification: Holding a recognized change management certification.

  • ServiceNow: Experience with the ServiceNow platform, utilized for service management or other relevant purposes.
