Min 8 years of industry experience as a Network Security engineering on Design, Implementation and troubleshooting Firewall, load balancers, WAF
* Hands-on Experience handling at least 3 Firewall products (PaloAlto, FortiGate, Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Sonicwall etc.) and
* Hands on experience with Proxy solutions(Forcepoint, Zscaler etc), IDS/IPS, WAF
* Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client IT security related issues (Cisco FTD/Palo Alto/ firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, proxy, Bluecoat/Forcepoint/Zscalar Web filtering).
* Experience on firewall rules and data flow traffic in firewalls.
* Experience in performing /documenting RCA for major security incidents related to network security products Must have experience interacting with OEMs to fix product/technology related issue
* Experience on clustering and high availability.
* Experience in configuration and implementation of VPN across various vendor perimeter devices.
* Experience in routing technologies.
* Skilled in analysing and monitoring network security solutions.

Your role and responsibilities

Overall 8 years of industry experience adn min 4 yrs as a Network Security engineering on Design, Implementation and troubleshooting Firewall,  VPNs, Cloud environement Security.

 

L3 Engineer should be able to handle and experience in Palo Alto, Fortigate Nex-Gen Firewall, Azure , AWS & OCI environment. Min exp in AWS, Azure 4 yrs.

 

Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client IT security related issues (Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Fortinet/Azure & AWS firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN). Global protect VPN and PAloAlto Agent deployment and uptime.

Direct and knowledge transfer to L2 engineer for upcoming deployments, Rule implementtation, Modification and Service Request fulfillment within SLA is key requirement.

Manage day to day firewall operations, implementing firewall rule requests, configuration changes. Continually improve upon skills and ability to learn new technologies
* Incorporate and follow all change management processes and procedures as outlined by the customer. Participate in security and vulnerability risk assessments of the enterprise firewall environment.
* Contribute to L2/L3 SOPs/Runbook/KEDB in keeping process & documentation up to date.
* Contribute to request/incident/change management improvement process
* Ready to learn new technologies through internal trainings
* Prove communication skills
* Incorporate and follow all change management processes and procedures as outlined by the customer.
* Participate in security and vulnerability risk assessments of the enterprise firewall environment.
* Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement.

Certified PCNS, Fortigate NSE4, Able to manage and operate Forti Manager, PaloAlto Panorama tool.

Core technical skill and hands-on  on NExgen Firewalls, Could Firewalls, Vnet configuration and troubleshooting. Global Protect VPN config and maintenance, PA agent maintenance.
