Your role and responsibilities

As an IBM Software Developer, you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for developing and maintaining modules of code, supporting customers and delivering value-add features and fixes for each release. 
 
For this position we need someone who brings proven full stack software development skills (Java, JavaScript, React, messaging and event processing technologies, software design, security and architecture), who has strong debugging and problem-solving skills and a solid knowledge of cloud technologies, networking and Kubernetes. 
 
The responsibilities will include:
* Working as a team to team to own and deliver technical solutions.
* Delivering innovative solutions that meet desired outcomes while respecting business integrity and meeting client commitments.
* Addressing issues/concerns with speed and enabling corrective actions.
* Participating in planning and tracking of work to meet delivery expectations.
* Operating in a culture of high-performing technical talent with the priority on delivering value.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise
  • 4+ years experience of full stack development
  • Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience of containerized solutions including Docker and Kubernetes, as well as devOps practices, CICD, cloud technologies and networking.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Source Control Management (e.g. git)
  • Project management, planning and tracking
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience of customer support and in-depth troubleshooting
  • Experience with automation and analytics
  • Experience of OpenShift
  • Experience in architecting, deploying, and managing applications in cloud or hybrid infrastructures
