As a Digital Technical Specialist aligned to Storage brands, you'll be a collaborative technical expert and trusted advisor working with and across your clients, IBM's broader sales teams, and Business Partners. You'll understand clients' business and technical requirements within the current competitive landscape and, combining this with your knowledge of IBM's product suite, you'll present value-driving solutions that compel clients to invest in us.

•Team's Storage Expert: Serving as the storage expert on your team.
•Early Sales Support: Offering technical support in the early sales stages, including demos and workshops.

Technical Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage solutions.
· Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage.
· Knowledge of integrating storage solutions with servers and virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Specific Knowledge:
· Hands-on experience with IBM Storage products (e.g., IBM FlashSystem, IBM DS8000, IBM Spectrum Storage Suite).
· Familiarity with related technologies such as NVMe, RAID, and data deduplication.
· Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
· Expertise in storage cybersecurity, including immutable backups and ransomware protection.
Tools and Methodologies:
· Experience managing and monitoring storage systems using tools like IBM Storage Insights, Spectrum Control, or similar industry tools.
