IBM Consulting is seeking an exceptional Senior Salesforce Solution Engineer to play a pivotal role in growing our AMER Salesforce practice. This position will serve as the technical cornerstone in our pursuit of complex Salesforce opportunities across all market segments. The ideal candidate will architect innovative solutions that blend Salesforce capabilities with IBM's distinctive consulting approach and technology assets, driving growth and establishing IBM's eminence as the premier Salesforce implementation partner in the Americas region.
* **Solution Architecture:** Design and architect sophisticated, scalable Salesforce solutions that address complex client challenges across industries and Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, Revenue, Experience, Data Cloud, etc.)
* **Technical Sales Support:** Partner with account teams and business development leaders to provide technical expertise during the sales cycle, from initial discovery through solution presentations and proposal development
* **Solution Innovation:** Create differentiated solution approaches that leverage IBM's unique accelerators, industry frameworks, and complementary technologies including IBM watsonx and automation platforms
* **Asset Development:** Lead the design and development of reusable solution components and accelerators that enhance IBM's Salesforce delivery capabilities and competitive advantage
* **Proof of Concepts:** Develop compelling proof of concepts and technical demonstrations that showcase IBM's unique approach to Salesforce implementations
* **Technical Thought Leadership:** Create technical white papers, solution guides, and other content that establishes IBM's technical eminence in the Salesforce ecosystem
* **Salesforce Partnership Engagement:** Collaborate with Salesforce solution engineers and product teams to influence roadmaps and develop joint solutions that address market needs
* **Cross-Cloud Integration:** Design holistic solutions that integrate across multiple Salesforce clouds and extend to other enterprise systems

* 8+ years of experience in Salesforce solution architecture with multiple certifications across Salesforce clouds
* Proven track record of designing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
* Deep technical understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, API architecture, and integration patterns
* Experience in pre-sales roles with demonstrated success in supporting complex opportunity pursuits
* Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to both business and technical audiences
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Multiple Salesforce certifications including Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or domain-specific certifications
* Experience with IBM technology stack and understanding of integration patterns with Salesforce
* Knowledge of complementary technologies including AI, automation, API management, and data integration platforms
* Experience in developing reusable assets, accelerators, or solution frameworks
* Understanding of industry-specific processes and how they map to Salesforce capabilities
* Experience with emerging Salesforce technologies such as Salesforce Data Cloud, AgentForce, and Einstein GPT
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with clear articulation of value
* Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and partners
