Your role and responsibilities

IBM CEPH Quality Engineering team  is looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer with strong technical expertise in Storage Software testing and experienced in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure  automation and cloud platforms along with excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers. Create and maintain databases of known defects. Automate test scenarios.  May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

* 4+ years of experience in Software Testing domain.

* Hands on experience with CI/CD tools

* Good experience in Python scripting

*Strong problem-solving and analytic skills

* Excelent communication and troubleshooting skills

* Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices 

 

 

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experienced in vmware architecture 

Experienced in automation framework development

Experienced in Storage Software Testing
