IBM is seeking candidates to join its global transfer pricing and valuation practice. Transfer pricing is a multi-disciplinary specialty supporting International Tax Services, Supply Chain Management and Controversy groups. IBM is a globally integrated enterprise that targets the intersection of technology and effective business.
This is a challenging and fast paced position that requires a candidate to understand financial reports and prepare financial and economic analyses of inter-company transactions involving cross border flows of goods, services and intangible property. The individual should also have familiarity with accounting data, operational transfer pricing, and/or financial statements and models.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand intercompany flows related to transactions. Integrate intercompany matters with legal, accounting, financial planning, and external reporting functions, including coordination with foreign controllers. Engage with tax and business executives to present transfer pricing planning strategies, answer technical questions, and provide necessary business information for transfer pricing studies. Assist in preparing audit analyses, support audit-ready files and draft memoranda/reports.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Taxation, Law, Legal Studies or related
- Ten (10) plus years of experience as a Tax Advisor or related.
- Experience in US and non-US tax controversies, including competent authority proceedings.
