Introduction

'As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Implements and configurs INFOR solutions for clients and serves as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and be trusted business advice with deep understanding of and/or hands-on experience in the system.
  •  Focuses on understanding and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. Utilizes business and industry knowledge, business processes and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions with the goal of achieving client expectations.
  • Primary goals include: Strategic Solution Focus: Working across technical design, development, and implementation of solutions for simplicity, amplification, and maintainability that meet client needs.
  • Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy and / or solution development and solution implementation, leveraging knowledge of this area and working with the latest technologies. 
  • Collaboration and Team Building: Embody IBM core values while delivering project goals in order to build trust with clients and team members, with an emphasis on knowledge, self-awareness, respect, clear communications, inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation in all interactions.

 

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- At least 2 - 3 years of experience in the area of SunSystems and Infor Q&A (either in a technical role, application or support-based role).- Has experience implementing Infor SunSystems and Infor Q&A for at least 2 full project cycle- Knowledge of any software language and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server would be advantageous

 

Preferred technical and professional experience

Have knowledge in accounting would be advantageous
