As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.

Your role and responsibilities
Implements and configures INFOR solutions for clients and serves as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and provide trusted business advice with a deep understanding of and/or hands-on experience in the system. Focuses on understanding and analysing business requirements, designing and configuring solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. Utilises business and industry knowledge, business processes and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions with the goal of achieving client expectations. Primary goals include: Strategic Solution Focus: Working across technical design, development, and implementation solutions for simplicity, amplification, and maintainability that meet client needs. Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy and/or solution development and solution implementation, leveraging knowledge of this area and working with the latest technologies. Collaboration and Team Building: Embody IBM's core values while delivering project goals in order to build trust with clients and team members, with an emphasis on knowledge, self-awareness, respect, clear communications, inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation in all interactions.

 

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • At least 5 years of experience in the area of SunSystems and Infor Q&A (either in a technical role, application or support-based role).
  • Has experience implementing Infor SunSystems and Infor Q&A for at least 3 full project cycles as a Project & Team Lead.
  • Knowledge of any software language and relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server; Python; would be advantageous.

 

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Knowledge of Accounting would be advantageous.
