- You will provide sourcing support as assigned by the Delivery Sourcing Manager and Client Category Lead and contribute to operational levels of excellence.
- You will own primary responsibility to achieve client success against all contractual commitments at a category level.
- You will be responsible to understand category deliverables, savings commitments, milestones, and obligations– includes supporting reporting, analytical readouts that recognize opportunities to improve.
- You will contribute to integrated sourcing strategy which delivers savings and drives category transformation through time. Deliver and execute on sourcing events to support the strategy, including tail spend management and supplier consolidation.
- You will communicate and negotiate with clients and suppliers through all levels of organization, primary interface to key category client stakeholders.
- You will have the responsibility for achieving best overall value for IBM’s client when acquiring or contracting for goods and services.
- You will develop and maintain effective relationships with key client stakeholders, to understand and interpret their requirements and longer term strategies to ensure procurement can meet and exceed where possible these requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary experience
- At least 2-5 years of sourcing related experience preferably in indirect procurement categories, specifically in the Marketing category
- Fluent English language skills
- Demonstrated negotiation expertise
- Supplier relationship management expertise
- Strong communication and client facing skills
- Proactive character and collaboration/teaming techniques
- Able to juggle multiple priorities in a matrix environment
- Apply Business Controls Requirements
- Apply skills to ensure high client and stakeholder satisfaction
Experience with the following are bonus points, but not necessary. You can learn them at IBM:
- Technology: Ariba, SAP, Coupa, MS Office suite, Outlook
- Experience with dashboards, data and reporting
