Your role and responsibilities

Logistics Procurement Management 

A Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Warehouse & Logistics is responsible for optimizing and streamlining warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. The consultant must have a deep understanding of supply chain and logistics principles, as well as strong analytical and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive successful transformation projects. This specialization is crucial for businesses looking to stay competitive in today's rapidly evolving market, as efficient warehouse and logistics operations are essential for meeting customer expectations and maintaining a competitive edge.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

1.     Educational Background：

²  Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related fields.  

2.     Work Experience：

²  8+ years of hands-on experience in logistics and transportation, including at least 5 years in logistics operations, procurement, or carrier management at enterprises or large logistics companies.

²  Proven experience in leading or participating in complete logistics management consulting projects, preferably as a module lead. With prior consulting experience is preferred.  

3.     Professional Competencies Logistics Operations :

²  In-depth understanding of end-to-end logistics processes, including warehousing, transportation, and routing optimization. 

²  Procurement Management : Expertise in procurement workflows, supplier development, negotiation, and contract management. 

²  Carrier Management : Ability to design carrier management systems and establish scientific supplier performance evaluation criteria. 

²  Data Analysis : Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI for data analysis and modeling.  

4.     Core Skills Communication : 

²  Articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with senior clients, internal teams, and suppliers to drive project success. 

²  Problem-Solving : Identify logistics procurement issues and operational gaps swiftly, proposing innovative solutions and ensuring efficient implementation. 

²  Adaptability : Quickly master new knowledge and skills to meet diverse industry and client needs. 

²  Resilience : Withstand frequent domestic travel and high-pressure workloads to meet project deadlines.  

Additional Requirements：

  • Language Proficiency : Fluency in English (spoken and written) for English-speaking work environments. 
  • Certifications : Professional certifications (e.g., CPLM Logistics Certification, CSCP Supply Chain Certification) preferred. 
  • Travel Commitment : Availability for frequent domestic business travel and occasional support for projects in Africa and other overseas regions.
