Your role and responsibilities

People are bombarded and disrupted by thousands of messages a day. The world doesn’t need more content; it needs better content.  IBM is looking for a Brand and Content Strategist Intern to support the planning, creation, and execution of assigned deliverables defined by the Brand & Content Strategy team. 

 In this role, you will:

  •  Collaborate with the team to support development of integrated brand-to-demand messaging and content plans that deliver the right content, at the right time, to the right audiences and drive the right outcomes.
  • Prepare, recommend and test solutions to help engage IBM audiences through specific messaging, brand & content strategy deliverables. 
  • Participate in the development and execution of specific elements of the content strategy with our creative partners. 
  •  Apply deep curiosity to build an understanding of the market, target audiences and IBM’s offerings to help create the most compelling messaging and content.
  • Work across different marketing disciplines in IBM from Product Marketing and Communications to Client Stories, Field Marketing, Events, Social, Ecosystem and Industry. 
  • Partner closely with internal and external agency partners to help inform teams to do their best creative work for IBM.

 In addition to your work assignments, the internship includes educational, networking, and social activities. Between your assignments and intern programming, you’ll get to touch a variety of areas within Marketing. 

Start date for this internship is in early June 2025. This is a hybrid role, attendance in the office is required only 3 times per week. We will be concluding the recruitment process for this role in late April. Please submit your application and before that time.

  • Currently enrolled in a University program
  • Strong English language fluency
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Open-minded and constant learner: consistently expanding knowledge to gain new skills, apply new methodologies and develop expertise.
  • Analytical mindset to identify opportunities, test potential solutions and synthesize insights into recommendations for messaging, brand and content strategy.
  • Active listener, able to effectively absorb and apply professional knowledge to tasks quickly.
  • Responsible team player demonstrating ownership and accountability
